Always trying new things
Instruction in the classroom is always changing. In some classes, for example traditional engineering statics, the content has not changed in over 50 years, while in other classes, for example biotechnology, the content is changing daily. In addition, the technology available to be used in the classroom and out of the classroom is rapidly changing as well. Incorporating both content, technological and delivery changes in the classroom is done every semester. Assessing the effectiveness of these outcomes can be challenging. This section provides some examples of changes used in Engineering Education as well as its assessment.
